Luxury Mobile Pet Grooming...
                 For Very Spoiled Pets!

Say "hello" to Pam Julian

Meet Pam, the cheery gal that drives the Bubble Mobile.  She's a career groomer.  What does that mean?  Well, she's been grooming pets since she was in High School...taking her first grooming instruction from neighbors that had show Poodles.  She'd help out in the summer and after school (1966) and from there things just kept going.

In 1977 she got back into the swing of grooming as a stay at home mom with 4 children and was a 4-H Leader in Skagit County's Dog and Cat Projects.  At the same time she was a mover and a shaker with the local AKC all breed dog club, the Bell-Vernon Kennel Assn. as an elected officer and event planner for the twice yearly dog shows and fun matches held by the club, and contact rep. for the AKC Education Program for Children. She actively did Obedience training with her Standard Poodle "Ghost" and together they obtained both his AKC & CKC Companion Dog titles.

By 1988 she had a thriving grooming business and was a member of the South Puget Sound Groomers Assn.  She also had her first Grooming Competition wins, taking a first Place with a Poodle and tied for First with a Cocker.  For the next 14 years she competed and usually placed in local grooming competitions.
In 2001 she competed in a "Before and After " photo contest and won 1st Place with her Scissored dog and 2nd Place with her Shaved dog!

In 1993 she became interested in the show world of purebred cats and over the next 14 years competed in several associations, and won Regional and National awards with her Ocicats...the cattery is now retired, but 3 very special Ocicats are still in-house, on the bed or where ever they want to be!

Snow White, Barbara Ann, and Lilly

Hollybird, at age 27 has seen a lot of dogs come through the shop as she loves saying "hello" and "by-by" to clients...but not when she's working on her Thanksgiving turkey leg!

In 1990 Pam certified as a Companion Animal Hygienist with the Western World Pet Supply Association.  In 1992 she completed her technical and practical tests for Certification in Sporting Breeds through the International Pet Groomers, Inc.  In 2004 she certified with the American Red Cross for Pet First Aid and CPR. She has continuously attended seminars and trade shows to keep on the cutting edge of the grooming industry.

With a new year [2008] she is continuing her IPG Certification, toward her "CERTIFIED MASTER GROOMER" {C.M.G.}...having completed and passed the written tests for Non-Sporting Breeds, Terrier Breeds, and the Masters test which covers all of the other breeds... her practical test of a Poodle, and an Airedale Terrier have been completed and a short legged terrier will be finished late in 2008.

Pam had one of the few grooming schools in Arizona from 1998 to 2004 where beginners and advanced groomers enjoyed learning new tricks of the trade and she continues this now providing pet owners the option to learn to groom their own pet or offering advanced level grooming for professionals. She is an accomplished speaker and event planner for grooming functions.

She was a moving force with the Arizona Professional Pet Groomers Assn., Inc. for 10 years, holding the office of Vice-President, creating the associations first Web site, and as Editor for the associations monthly newsletter...

Returning to Washington state in the Spring of 2007, she is a co-founder of the new Washington Alliance of Groomers, Inc. and is the acting Secretary, and Editor of the associations Newsletter and maintains the Web Site.  She is also a co-moderator for the Washington groomers Yahoo Groups email list and is Chairlady for the Vocational Licensing Committee...

With a new year brings a new location, as she will be returning to the Skagit Valley, but will contiune to service her Snohomish County clients, too.

Pam is also a speaker for the Barkleigh Corporation  a national "Trade-Show" producing company for the Grooming Industry...always motivating new groomers!
