In today's busy  life styles it's not always the easiest choice to pack up the kids and the pet(s) and go to the grooming salon or big box store salon to have the family pet(s) groomed.  Many families have scheduling conflicts.  Some pets have a hard time riding in the car and get upset at being away from home or other family pets.

With mobile grooming you have the time and space you need for family but you also have the convenience of having your pet groomed with-in a workable time frame for you and your family. 

Mobile grooming is a one to one situation for your pet(s) in the privacy of the unit your groomer brings to your door.  There is no hustle or bustle of a busy shop, no confusion of strange dogs happily barking to each other.  No telephones ringing,  no strange people coming through the door. 

Your pet(s) are also handled on a one to one basis and not left to nap alone in a strange place for hours.  Typically mobile grooming takes about an hour to two hours, depending on 'dryer time'  for each pet. 

In the Bubble Mobile pets from the same family can be together and share the fun and snuggle together in nice warm towels, while a buddy is on the table having special time with me!

Having the convenience of a mobile groomer can sometimes cause  "sticker  shock"  when determining price, at least it seems that way.  Usually the cost of a mobile unit coming to your home will be about $20 - $30 more per pet than if you take the pet(s) to a salon.  Mobile grooming is not for everyone, it can be cost prohibitive for some. Fuel fees are becoming common, but the cost is usually just a gallon of fuel per pet or trip... less than what you would spend in 4 trips in one day to a salon.

Your location can also play a part in whether a mobile unit can come to you.   Most mobile units are set up to work on a level surface.  If you live on a hill, or have a sloped drive way, the unit may not be able to accommodate your location.


The Bubble Mobile is a stick-shift, and is a heavy unit, therefor some steep driveways or hilly areas are not compatible for it.  It also needs room to turn around even though it's only 20 feet long, as backing down a long driveway is not safe.

The Bubble Mobile is fully self contained, with holding tanks for fresh water, gray water and black water.  Her internal electrical systems are powered by an Inverter/Battery combination so does not need to "plug-in", unless of course we get a smokin' hot day  and she needs the roof AC unit...but she also has a "dash AC" system for mildly warm days.

 She has two heater vent units, one in the front cab and one in the back near the floor that produces warm air for puppies to play in warm towels...while keeping the unit warm in adverse weather conditions.


The weather will also play a role in how mobile groomers function.  Best rule of thumb is if the weather is bad enough "to close schools" it's not SAFE to be on the road. 

Mobile groomers do try to be on time for appointments but road conditions , construction , accidents, road closures , and chatting with clients can play a part in making us run longer between appointments.  I will call you if I am running behind more than a half an hour.
